Originally designed by Fred in the 1960s, the knitted shirt bridged the gap between sport and streetwear. Like the Fred Perry Shirt, its true-knit counterpart is breathable and comfortable for sport, but sharp enough to wear off-court, its versatility appealing to countless subcultures over the years. Featuring a contrast geometric design, inspired by the gridded aesthetic of tennis nets and racquets, this adaptation reflects the visual language of sports, translated into a modernist button-up silhouette.
