Working under the name Satan’s School, Natasha Tontey is an Indonesian artist and graphic designer. Through her chosen medium, she tries to re-explore the framework of adulthood that has been co-occupied by moral standards and codes. These ideals shape her practices to be more fluid in terms of imagination and fiction. What she has been pursuing through her works have always been based on the exploration of fictional narratives; constantly on the borderline between reality and fiction, with absurdity, fear, horror, and speculation as the main themes. With ‘Satan’s School’, she defines her particular style and philosophy through graphics applied goods with a substance of fictional narratives.
